With so many copycats “borrowing” images and words of genuine products, it can be hard to determine if you’re getting the real deal. That’s why we came up with this helpful list to make sure you’re getting the Classic Accessories® Difference.
Tip 1: Look for Our Logo
The quickest way you can spot a true Classic Accessories® product is by looking at our logo. The picture above shows how our logo is displayed on tags, labels, manuals, and covers. When we want advertise our products online, we include images that show a close-up of our logo. Many imposters are getting smart and copying our words when describing their dupes, so it’s more important than ever to check the logo first. If you don’t see our logo, odds are that item is a no-go.
Tip 2: It’s All About the Details
Classic Accessories is proud to be the leading company in outdoor covers, cushions, and more. With over 35 years of experience, we consider all the little details that make our products easy to use and built to last. When shopping online, look for our signature words and phrases that support those details, like “woven polyester fabric”, “patent-pending click-close buckles”, or “taped seams”. What is a taped seam? Good question! A taped seam means the stitching has been taped or sealed over so water cannot leak through. Other companies may claim their covers are waterproof but won’t go into specific detail about how they do it.
Another key phrase to look for is our ‘patent-pending click-close straps’. This means we’ve invented a special design that keeps the cover or cushion exactly where you want it. If you see a product that looks like ours but doesn’t include detailed descriptions, chances are it’s not a genuine Classic Accessories item.
The picture below is a perfect example. The imposter cover looks exactly like our Classic Accessories Veranda’s Best cover! However, you can see that the vague and generic descriptions show that this imposter doesn’t explain how the cover is waterproof; they are just hoping you believe the words.
